Kody Blois, Member of Parliament for Kings–Hants, Melissa Sheehy-Richard, Member of the Legislative Assembly for Hants West, and Mayor Abraham Zebian of West Hants Regional Municipality have jointly announced an investment exceeding $4.1 million. This funding will support vital upgrades to water and wastewater infrastructure in West Hants, including the replacement of underground sanitary and storm sewers, improvements to potable water services, and enhancements to road surfaces on College Road and Nesbitt Street.

These enhancements will not only improve access to drinking water but also enhance the capacity to manage wastewater and stormwater, contributing to a healthier environment and more dependable community services. Through these infrastructure investments, the Government of Canada is bolstering the nation’s economy, fostering resilient communities, and enhancing the well-being of Canadians.
